Benchmarks compares your social media performance with accounts of a similar size, and with specific accounts you choose, so you can see whether you're ahead, on par or behind.
How Benchmarks works
You're grouped in a cohort with accounts on the same network that have a similar number of followers. Each chart shows the lower, median and upper benchmarks for your cohort, with your account shown as a bar.
Benchmarks are based on your average metrics over the last 30 days. Follower Growth is based on your average monthly growth over the last 12 months.
How to compare with specific accounts
As well as comparing with similar-sized accounts, you can benchmark against specific competitors. You can add up to 5 accounts, including your other profiles and competitors you track in Minter.io.
Open the report for the profile you want to compare.
Go to the Benchmarks tab.
Select Add accounts in the top right, next to "Compare against".
Tick the accounts you want to compare with.
Each account appears as its own bar in every chart. The cohort ranges stay on the chart, so you can see how you compare with similar-sized accounts and with the accounts you've chosen.

Follower Growth By Month
Compares the average monthly follower growth with other Instagram accounts in your cohort.
Posts per Month
Compares the average number of posts published per month with other Instagram accounts in your cohort.
Engagement Rate per Post
Compares the average Engagement Rate per Post with other Instagram accounts in your cohort.
Reach Rate per Post
Compares the average Reach Rate per post with other Instagram accounts in your cohort.
Likes per Post
Compares the average number of likes per post with other Instagram accounts in your cohort.
Comments per Post
Compares the average number of comments per post with other Instagram accounts in your cohort.
Stories per Month
Compares the average number of stories published per month with other Instagram accounts in your cohort.
Reach Rate per Story
Compares the average Reach Rate per story with other Instagram accounts in your cohort.
