Following a recent Meta API update, View metrics in Instagram and Competitor reports now reflect total cross-platform performance.

Instagram Profiles

For crossposted posts and stories, Views now show the combined total of views received on Instagram and Facebook.

For profiles connected with Instagram-only login, boosted Instagram posts now also show total views, including paid data.

You can see the breakdown of Instagram and Facebook, paid and organic, by hovering over the Views number in each post's detailed data view.

Instagram Competitors

Competitor reports now also show the combined total of Instagram, Facebook, and ads for Views, Likes and Comments. Currently, a breakdown by source is not available for competitors.

Since engagement metrics for competitors now include crossposted and promoted activity, you may see data differ from previous reports for accounts that crosspost to Facebook and run promotions.
