We've updated how Engagement Rate is calculated for Instagram on Minter.io. This metric now includes Saves, Shares, and Reposts for a more complete picture of how your audience interacts with your content.
The new formulas for calculating Engagement rate metrics for Instagram:
Engagement Rate =(Likes + Comments + Saves + Shares + Reposts) / Followers × 100%
Engagement Rate by Reach = (Likes + Comments + Saves + Shares + Reposts) / Reach × 100%
Note: Reposts data is currently only available for Instagram profiles connected via Facebook. For profiles connected via Instagram login, Engagement Rate is calculated using Likes, Comments, Saves, and Shares.
